#BostonBucketlist: Fine Arts & Even Finer Food

Another weekend, another trip to Boston with my family.

I honestly don’t think I will ever be tired of venturing into the city on the weekends. Whether it’s with my friends or my family, I always have a blast exploring and walking around one of my favorite places in the world. Although I have only lived in the suburbs around Boston, I’ve practically grown up taking trips to the Prudential every weekend and visiting the city’s many museums, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, where I went on Memorial Day just earlier this week.

In addition to the MFA, I also went to the Boston Common, Chinatown (gotta get my boba fix!), the Prudential Center, and the Back Bay in general.

Here are a few shots I took this long weekend:

One of the things I love most about the MFA is that even though it specializes in historic/more older periods of artwork, they still include dope contemporary pieces such as this mirror-glass-bottles exhibit! Peep my legs 🙂

Outfit: Lavendar loose t-shirt (Gap), checkered pants (Loft) & black cushion slip-ons (Steve Madden)

Quick lunch stop at the Prudential Center.

Even though I had just had lunch, I always have room for bubble tea! My personal favorite boba place in Chinatown is Gong Cha Tea. It’s the best spot in town, I promise you.

My order @ Gong Cha: medium taro milk with boba, no ice, no sugar.

Anyways, that’s it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this mini weekend travel diary. I know I go to Boston a lot but it truly is one of my favorite places to go — not only because it’s hella convenient to get there (God bless the MBTA), but also because there’s something for everyone there.

I’ve never really done one of these posts that just document my life, but if you guys are into it, I’ll be sure to post more in the future!

Comment what you did last weekend and give me ideas for future activities!

Lots of love.

Spread the love!

Aw, thank you Taiya! Yesss you should definitely visit Boston sometime, it’s an amazing city. Also I LOVE my checkered pants, so if you’re thinking about getting a pair sometime, mine are from the Loft but I’ve seen pairs everywhere lately!

Oh my gosh, I was at the MFA and the Prudential Center the same day that you were. I might have seen you around! Visiting Boston was awesome, what a great city

WHATTT NO WAY!! I wish I had seen you! Boston is such an awesome place, if you ever come back and want recommendations of my favorite restaurants, places, etc., let me know!

I love your checkered pants!! I think I might be going to Boston this summer, and the Museum of Fine Arts definitely looks like somewhere I want to go. Do you have a larger Boston guide on your blog? And haha yea, boba is awesome! This might sound crazy, but I actually like the milk part, not really the boba.

Hi Annie! Yesss, the MFA is a must-go for anyone in Boston, especially in the summer when the air conditioning and art is a great getaway from the outdoor temps. I’m actually working on a larger Boston guide right now, so hopefully, I’ll have even more places compiled soon. Don’t worry, I’m also a HUGE sucker for milk tea, with or without boba, ahah.
