With only a few more weeks of school left (even though some schools are already out!), summer is upon us, despite the 50 degrees weather that Boston has decided to hit us with lately 🤷🏻♀️ Yet despite all the confusing weather and my bittersweet feelings about school ending so soon, there is still one thing that I am pretty excited about: summer.
Last summer, I traveled to China, which was one of the coolest experiences of my life. The summers before that, I went to summer camp. This summer though, my only “definite” plans are working as a tutor or some type of restaurant job (gotta embrace that ~minimum wage~ life) and studying for my PSATs.
If you’re anything like me, the first few weeks of vacation are usually “meh,” mostly because a) I have nothing to do and b) I have no idea what I would even want to do in the first place. However, I refuse to let this be the case this year, which is why I’ve compiled the ULTIMATE summer bucket list consisting of 50 things to during vacation to make boredom practically nonexistent.
The best part? For most of these, you don’t need to leave town for. After all, who says you can’t have fun without a plane ticket to somewhere tropical?
My goal is to do every one of these things to make sure I have a fun, fulfilling summer that will not only make awesome memories, but also a potentially cool Instagram photo and even better material to use on the first day of school when people ask, “So, what did you do this summer?”
So hey, if you find yourself bored this summer as well, feel free to use this list as your own and let me know how it goes over social media!
If you enjoyed my summer bucketlist or plan on tackling some of these goals yourselves, let me know either through social media (tweet me @elleforlife or follow me on the ‘gram @ellewenn!) or leave a comment below!
